Cookie and Local Storage Notice
Storage categories
- Essential: authentication/session state, language, security, consent record, accessibility, and active-game recovery that is necessary to provide the requested service. Guest play keeps an anonymous sign-in token in browser storage so you can stay in the game you joined; clearing site data ends that guest session.
- Functional: optional history, progress, preferences, and caches that improve continuity.
- Analytics: pseudonymous product-interaction and reliability measurement, limited to a fixed list of in-app event names with no raw text, no advertising identifier, and no cross-app tracking, including steps taken before you sign in, which are linked to your account if you sign in on the same device, retained for 90 days. It also keeps where your first visit came from (for example a search engine or a shared link) on your device for up to 90 days. On the website it includes Google Analytics 4. Website visitors in the EEA, the UK and Turkey are asked first and nothing in this category runs until they accept. Elsewhere, and in the app, it runs by default on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the product and can be switched off at any time.
- Marketing and advertising: not used. We do not use advertising cookies, and Google Analytics is told not to use website data for advertising.
What we store
- _ga and _ga_<id> (Google Analytics, website only): count visits and where they come from. Analytics. Up to 2 years.
- vuxa_acquisition_v1: where your first visit came from. Analytics. Up to 90 days.
- analytics_session_id, behavior_session_id and related keys: random identifiers for product-interaction analytics. Analytics. Until you switch analytics off or clear site data; the events themselves are deleted after 90 days.
- vuxa_mkt_visitor_id (session storage, website only): a random per-visit identifier for our own page-visit counter. Analytics. Ends when you close the tab.
- vuxa_consent_preferences_v1: your analytics choice. Essential. Until you change it or clear site data.
- Sign-in, guest session, language, accessibility and game-recovery keys: Essential. As long as needed for the service.
- Cloudflare website statistics use no cookies or device storage.
Controls
On the website, visitors in the EEA, the UK and Turkey choose Accept All or Reject All before any analytics runs. Anyone can change the choice later with Cookie settings in the website footer or Settings > Privacy Choices in the web app. In the app, use Settings > Privacy Choices. Withdrawal is as easy as consent: it stops analytics and deletes the Google Analytics cookies and analytics storage on that device.
Browser signals such as Global Privacy Control are treated as an opt-out for any future sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activity to which the signal legally applies. Vuxa does not sell personal data or use cross-context behavioral advertising.
